I don't know about you guys, but I like to feel like I know the people I'm subscribed to or following. If I have a general idea about what type of person they are, I'm more likely to classify them as one of my "favorites." This post is just to tell you a little more about myself so you can get to know me better.
After doing that Seven Interesting Facts Tag, I figured just listing things about myself was probably the easiest way for you all to get to know me a little better. So here's my about me list: Oh and just to warn you, some of these are sad, some are lighthearted, and some are just life experiences I've had.
First the 10 basics:
1. My name is Chelsey... haha...like you didn't know that already.
2. I'm 20 yrs old and my zodiac sign is Cancer.
3. I'm 5'2"
4. I have Native American in me, but I have no clue what type so I just say I'm full black.
5. I'm in my 3rd yr in college, taking 18 hrs and majoring in Business Management.
6. I'm singleeeee.
7. I was born and raised in the South. (Southern food is amazing.)
8. I have one older sister. She's 22 and an accountant. ..which just happens to be my worst subject.
9. I have one dog. A small yorkshire terrier I've had since I was in Kindergarten.
10. I was born in Louisiana.
Now the randoms:
1. I'm straight. (duh.) But I have a major girl crush on Kristen Stewart (hence the banner). I think she's gorgeous and I love her attitude. I always have one girl crush at a time. It's gone from Scarlett Johansson, to Olivia Wilde, to Kristen.
2. I wasn't allowed to wear black nail polish when I was younger. My mom told me it made me look gothic. Now, it's my favorite color to wear. Coincidence? lol
3. I listen to a little bit of everything. My favorite bands are Paramore and Kings of Leon, my favorite artists are Drake, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga. I only like select songs from Taylor Swift, but I think she's a total sweetheart.
4. I'm not the clubbing type. at all. I only go if my friends want to. It's just not my thing. I'd much rather watch a movie or hang out at someone's house.

5. I love going on the elliptical machine. I don't really have a goal or anything, I just love how it gives me energy and the way my muscles feel the day after. It just turned into a habit and is a great excuse to listen to music for an hour.
6. I'm the type of person who likes a song because of the words instead of because of the beat. I'm always quoting songs or movies.
7. I fell down concrete steps that led down into the street when I was little, but somehow stopped myself before I rolled onto the road. I had a tiny scar from it in the middle of my forehead for many many years. You know that thing where you're wearing high heels and you sort of balance on the heel alone by rocking back and forth? That's what I was doing. After my mom told me not to. lol. Listen to your parents!
8. I was in TAG and AP classes in high school. Graduated top 3% of my class. Even took a College Prep class. Funny how they don't tell you none of that matters or even prepares you once you leave.
9. My outfits always turn out cuter when I throw stuff together at the last minute versus planning what I'm wearing the night before. It's reallyyyyyyyyy irritating.
10. Never have I ever gotten my eyebrows waxed. Only pluck. I don't trust people with my eyebrows lol.
11. When I read New Moon, I cried my eyes out. Like, CRIED my eyes out. Books never affect me like that. It's crazy emotional.
12. As I was typing the previous fact, the New Moon movie trailer came on tv...haha.
13. I get annoyed very easily. I wish I could fix that, but I can't. It's always the little things that bother me though, like someone texting me asking me if I'm busy immediately after I don't pick up their phone call. Or when I pick up someone's phone call and I say "Hello?" and then they say "Hello?" ...YOU called ME. Don't leave me in charge with carrying the conversation.
14. I grew up wide-eyed and innocent to the world. I was extremely naive. I truly believed if you loved one person they would love you back just the same, and if you stayed loyal to one person they would stay just as loyal. I believed everyone lived by the Golden Rule. I wish this were true, but obviously it isn't. I didn't learn this fact until high school.
15. I feel much more comfortable telling complete strangers things about my life than my friends....because if strangers make judgments, I don't care. If friends do, it makes me not want to tell them anything anymore.
16. After the end of a very long relationship, like the typical girl, I dyed my never been dyed hair, got my first and only tattoo, and pierced my belly button. [not all at the same time] I just needed a change. It was incredibly liberating and I don't regret any of it.

17. I eat oatmeal nearly every day for breakfast because I'm too lazy to fix anything like pancakes and bacon. Funny thing is I used to want to be a chef when I was younger. haha. That would have been a failed career.
18. I loveee the scene girl hair. I'd never get it myself, but if I considered myself "scene" it would be a must.
19. I hate Uggs. And Vans. And Flip Flops. And Crocs. I've only recently started liking Converse, though I don't own a pair. I'd like a basic black pair.
20. I'd much rather buy clothes over makeup. Clothes, then shoes, then handbags, then jewlery, THEN makeup.
21. I started wearing big hoop earrings because my older sister would. I started wearing them in 7th grade and continued all through this year in college because they made me look older and I'm very insecure about looking really young. (also the reason why I wear makeup) I've only just recently despised the look of basic large hoop earrings. ...Maybe that means I'm officially old enough to WANT to look young. haha.
22. I seriously couldn't be happier not to be a teen anymore. Those were the best and worst years of my life. Let's start this decade off right! haha
23. I'm always labeled as the quiet goody-good girl. I don't know how I give off that impression. I am quiet in class, but hello!? I'm learning lol. I was nowhere near "good" my last year in high school, which happens to be my favorite school year. Now I just feel like I'm passed that. Time to grow up and get focused.
24. I'm pretty sure number 23 made me sound like I was a whore. haha. I wasn't. AT ALL. I didn't even dress like one. I promise. I just did typical teen stuff...Never smoked anything though. Book-wise I was really smart. I was "that girl" that everyone cheated off of or asked for homework help from.

25. I've never worked in a restaurant/fast food place before. Working retail sucks. Sometimes I wonder which one is worse? At least in a restaurant you don't have to ask people to sign up for a credit card that even you wouldn't sign up for.
26. My best friend since 4th grade is putting her boyfriend of 2 months who she's "madly in love with and wants to marry" before me and everyone else she considers friends and family. And it's seriously irritating me to the point where I'm ready to cut the friendship completely off despite how much we've been through. She has visited my college town nearly 8 times without making the effort to visit me or sometimes even tell me she's in town. But now all of a sudden she's making this huge effort just because she wants me to meet her boyfriend before he gets stationed elsewhere next week. Ugh. I could go on a whole 'nother rant with this one.

27. I'm always quoting things. Books, movies, music..
28. When I was a freshman in college, I lived in the dorms that had community bathrooms. One night at like 3 am I went to use the bathroom and witnessed bulimia. A girl was sitting on the floor in front of the toilet throwing up. It was extremely sad. She was really heavyset and I wanted to do something...tell her she's beautiful and it's okay (I was a psychology major), tell her to stop she's killing herself in the long run...but I didn't know what to do. I felt like that was a situation where I couldn't get involved. It's one of those things I will never ever forget. I'd see her in the halls every now and then when I was walking back to my dorm and she always looked so unhappy. :-( I honestly wish I knew what her name was. I just want to know how she's doing, if she's better.
29. Senior year in high school I would eat fast food for lunch with my friends every single day. I'm surprised my arteries aren't clogged. It grosses me out to think I ate fast food every school day. It was always Golden Chick, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Rosa's Cafe, and Sonic. 5 days a week, every week.
30. I'm really self conscious about my calf muscles. I think they're huge! Like, runningback huge lol. Calf muscles must be the easiest to bulk up or something. But trust me, they are the hardest to fatten up.
31. I had contacts in every single color. I couldn't tell you why. It was simply just a phase. Thank goodness that's over with
